Creative Writing and Story Telling

Students that enroll in this course will experience a lot of skills necessary to advance themselves in the arts like films, short stories, poetry and elevating styles. Students will also study writing samples from professional writers as well as student writers to guide student progress. By the end of this course, students will learn how to discover their creative thoughts and turn those ideas into fully realized pieces of creative writing.

This course dives in depth about diverse cultures as well as great leaders and rulers that once ruled these certain civilizations like Sargon Of Akkad and Hammurabi in Ancient Mesopotamia, King Tutankhaman in Ancient Egypt, Qin Shi Huangdi From Ancient China and etc. Additionally, students will learn about specific historical skills they might need in the future for certain social studies courses like Intermediate and Introduction - World History and Japanese History (794 A.D - 1900 A.D) and also Introduction - Chinese History (1600 BCE - 907 CE).

In this course, students will learn the basics of coding with Scratch, such as loops, variables, and moving characters. These concepts can be applyed to text-based programming languages as well. They will learn these skills while working on a small game with a walking character who has to avoid obstacles by jumping over them.

Intro to AI and Machine Learning with Python

In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of machine learning, including the types of machine learning and how machine learning models work. Students will also learn how to use the Python programming language with the Scikit-learn library to train and test machine learning models.
